On April 26, 2019 in Cork Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Ireland Yuriy Filatov took part in the annual ceremony of rememberance of the victims of the Chernobyl disaster. The event was attended by Lord Mayor of Cork Mick Finn, founder of the charitable organization “The Greater Chernobyl Cause” Fiona Corcoran, Irish officials, representatives of the Catholic Church and volunteers.
